Celebrate good times, come on!

Pheww... The past few weeks have been the most intense of my 2023 so far. My 'Week of Giftedness' lasted not one but two weeks, and within that time frame, I gave 3 Masterclasses, 1 group coaching event, and close to 50 (!) 1-1 coaching sessions. I guess this is what business growth looks like. Because last year, I had 14 1-1 sessions resulting from the same offer. This year, I received a flood of booking requests, more than 80 in total. Next year round, I'll probably have to think of a different format... The past few days, I've taken a break from coaching, to rest and recover, and to catch up on my PhD research (which I had to put on the back burner for a bit). Another thing I did is CELEBRATE! Because right now, there is a lot worth celebrating:

  • I served hundreds of gifted people these past few weeks.

  • Countless aha-moments, powerful insights, and even life-changing breakthroughs

  • Endless inspiration, and high energy. It showed in the Masterclass comment sections!

  • I launched 'The Smart Rebel Podcast' and within the first week, we made it to the Nr. 8 best performing podcast in the Netherlands in the 'self-improvement' category.

And perhaps what I am celebrating the most: All the beautiful gifted souls who are saying YES to transformation, to their big ideas, their endless ambition, and their desire to show the world just how much they're capable of. I admire each new client who signs up for coaching. Because it's a big deal. And a life-changing decision. It's a decision that takes guts to make. And all of them have to overcome fears, insecurities, and discomfort even before the coaching has begun. Some find it scary to make the financial investment, and find themselves out of their comfort zone. Others are afraid they may 'fail' or find out they don't have much to offer after all. Some feel intimidated by the term 'giftedness coaching' and feel like an imposter. Others have to overcome loads of internal excuses about why now is 'not the right time' or why this really isn't 'a priority'. This is why I deeply admire every single one of my clients: They're BRAVE. This is also how I know we're going to achieve great things together: because by signing up, they show me they're ready to play full out. In my coaching, we don't do 'maybe'. We don't hold back, and we don't play safe. This is the foundation of transformation, and exactly the mindset I look for in new clients. I can't wait to get to work with them. Cheers to bravery!

Time to Celebrate!

What is worth celebrating for you right now? What is going well in your life? It doesn't have to be about big wins all the time. It's the small successes that add up over time. Don't miss out on the small steps you're taking in the right direction. We often skip the 'celebration' part, and go straight to the next thing on our to-do list. So try to change that, by taking a moment to appreciate how far you've already come. Don't just think about it. Actually actively celebrate. Use rituals, activities, or food to do so. Eat a piece of cake, dance around your kitchen, plan a day trip to a place you've always wanted to visit, or treat yourself with a nice gift. Make it memorable. (Confession: I did all of the above as soon as I completed my coaching marathon! There are truly no limits to how much you can celebrate...)

The Smart Rebel Podcast: New episode

Didn't sign up for coaching, but want to keep the inspiration and insights flowing? Check out The Smart Rebel Podcast. Each episode, I coach a new gifted person on any topic they bring to the table. We just published a new episode, in which I help Steve get to the bottom of his social anxiety. If you ever felt scared of feeling excluded in group settings, this episode is for you.
